About Our Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Fleming knew at an early age that he wanted to follow his father and grandfathers footsteps into the medical field and become a plastic surgeon.
He earned his medical degree in 1986 from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. After medical school he completed nine years of residency training, beginning with six years of general surgery training at the Yale University School of Medicine Affiliated hospital system. While there, as Chief Resident, he was awarded a special teaching award for his skill at teaching medical students and junior residents assigned to his service. He continued on to complete a two year Plastic Surgery residency at McGill University under the guidance noted Plastic Surgeon, Bruce Williams, who was then the president of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. This was followed by a hand fellowship in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Fleming came to the Tri-Cities in 2008 to head up the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Kadlec Clinic. Having made frequent trips to the Tri-Cities as the coach of his son’s hockey team, Dr. Fleming and his wife knew that the Tri-CIties would be an excellent community to raise their growing family. At Kadlec, he served as ex-chairman of the Kadlec Clinic Board of Directors, and is formerly the Medical Director of the Kadlec Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
Dr. Fleming is a member of the American Society of Plastic surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of surgeons. He was awarded the prestigious Golden Hands Award for excellence in cosmetic surgery by his peers at the Washington Society of Plastic surgeons. This honor underscores his reputation for superior technical skill and outstanding surgical outcomes.
